What
"One Dollar, One Hope." is a WYVS worldwide project to ensure that education can be for anybody. Raising our voices all over the world we believe that, together, we can make education a reality for the millions of children who are still out of school. WYVS 2010 Global Action (2010) is gathering youth from all over the world to focus on helping countless children in southwest China to get back to school. We are hoping to help as many children as possible and this cannot be done without your help. With your support, those children can pick up their pencil and books again.
Who

Why
Early in 2010, severe drought hit China's south-west region (the worst in a century). Over 50 million people are affected and billions of dollars worth of crops are ruined. This drought has left thousands of children and families in southwest China with no food, no income, and no supplies, but those children still have a strong desire to be educated, hoping that their education will allow them to create a better future for themselves and those around them.
How
The children are the future for our society and you can truly make a difference in their lives. Together, we can make an impact of many lives today.
